Sherlock doesn't look around at the mess. In part, because he doesn't want to see what he did. Mostly because he's afraid to take his eyes off of Jim.

"Nope. Not dead."

"Good."

Jim falls silent, but keeps staring at Sherlock.

Just to see how long it takes him to crack, and what happens when he does.

Sherlock doesn't want to break eye contact. He doesn't want to let Jim out of his sight for a second. Who knows what's going to happen to him up here?

This plan is foiled when his body rebels. At least he makes it to the bathroom before throwing up.

When Sherlock is done, he'll find Jim is gone.

He'll also find the top sheet on the bed has been pulled smooth, with a message written across it using the only black marker he didn't manage to run out of ink:
